However, instead, the text is posted under today’s date. The time selector works, but the date isn’t applied correctly.</p>
<p dir="auto">To replicate:</p>
<ol>
<li>Open a Space with the date selector feature implemented.</li>
<li>Select a date in the past.</li>
<li>Enter text and send.</li>
<li>Observe that the text is posted under the “Today” header.</li>
</ol>
<p dir="auto">This feature was working correctly prior to a few months ago.</p>

<p dir="auto">The core system was indeed revamped at some point and I assume as a result of not many using the dates in the past this was never reported. I added a check to ensure this behavior doesn't break.</p>
