Basically a badge to show number of undone tasks / unread messages.
As in, the red circle on the app icon on iOS.

Hey thanks! This is actually one of the items scheduled for the next update so merging this together.
Please vote and reply inside the posts that interest you so it is easier to track but this is already top priority right now!
