Difference between notes and journal. Also, sending myself photos?

Is there a difference between notes and journal, if you turn the emoji thing in the journal off?

Also I am not able to send photos?

1. There is no real difference between Notes and Journal other than their configuration. The chat categories are more like templates (eventually that's how that will work), they can all be converted into each other. You can even change the "Mode" from Chat Behavior to make them more like to-dos for example.
   
2. You should be able to Attach images using the Image icon to the left of the Chat Bar (this is togglable in Chat Bar Settings)

The templates are confusing for the newcomer. It's not like we are going to create hundreds of chat conversations. I'm not creating one everyday, so I can afford to spend some time in the customize section of the chat to configure it. Forget about 'Synched notes', 'to do', 'notes'. That's how you named them but the name you give is personal and it could be anything. You could name them 'template1' and 'template2', which would actually be better I think. (by the way when you put 'notes' plural, you also have to use plural for 'Journal' and 'Group'). but I suggest you just skip templates.
other than that, the app is great.

@tetrian_vaz3yg6b0bwks7da Completely agree, thank you for sharing this! The new Customization settings are part of the plan to also change the Space creation experience. In the near future Space creation will just create a minimal Space that you can add different customizations and plugins onto. And then there will also be presets for common usecases.
