Will I lose all of my data if I create an account?
-
Right now on the iPhone app, I do not have an account with tetrify. But I just downloaded the app on my MacBook and would like to access all my notes there. I’m worried if I create an account on my phone app that it will erase all of the notes I made without an account. Can someone tell me how I can navigate this..

Hey! Creating an account on its own won't do anything to your data so I wouldn't worry about that.
There's a Sync Beta you can activate with tetrify Pro but I should say this:- it doesn't work too well just yet
- in the next 1-3 weeks there will be an entirely revamped version
So if it's not too time-sensitive I would hold off on enabling Sync after the fact.

@gagik but what if I create an account and the data is gone. On my Mac I created another account using my Apple ID.. how will that work.

@pennywrites Right now (confusingly) the accounts don't really tie to your data at all so it really isn't meant to affect much. All your data is stored on your device and doesn't go anywhere. I'm looking into introducing encrypted iCloud Backups which should make it easier to backup your data.
That said, the latest update fixed the bug with the not being able to export a backup. Can you try exporting your data and recovering it on Mac (or somewhere else)? This should let you access a copy of your data on your Mac.
