When sending a new text post with a previous date selected, the expected behavior is that the input will be posted under the specified date. However, instead, the text is posted under today’s date. The time selector works, but the date isn’t applied correctly.

    To replicate:

    1. Open a Space with the date selector feature implemented.
    2. Select a date in the past.
    3. Enter text and send.
    4. Observe that the text is posted under the “Today” header.

This feature was working correctly prior to a few months ago.

I can confirm this is a bug, I found a fix and will release as soon as possible, thank you for reporting this!

The core system was indeed revamped at some point and I assume as a result of not many using the dates in the past this was never reported. I added a check to ensure this behavior doesn't break.
