I have ADHD and I will sometimes see the reminder and instantly forget that I just saw it. I am constantly setting alarms along with Tetr and other app reminders. The ability to also set an alarm to go off at the same time would be great. Whether that’s integration with the iOS alarm or within Tetr. Would also help if I’m not near my phone and don’t y to message chime.
Cheers

As an option of sending routine messages a certain time or day, it would be interesting to have an aleatory mode. So that you can receive your own message at any time. If you receive a certain message, always at the same time, in some cases you will start to overlook them. Aleatory could be a way to get around that, at least for some type of messages.

Hi, I’m new to the app and absolutely loving it. Until yesterday, I think I was able to set reminders by texting, for example: “Remind me to finish xyz task by 10pm today” and after I hit Enter, that 10pm would get underlined and it would take that as the reminder time. I didn’t use the time wheel to set the time to 10pm or anything. But now when I do that, it is not reading the time I type in the text - instead, it is actually only reading the wheel time “tomorrow 9am” every single time! Is this a bug? Or is it some setting issue?

Hey,
It's been a little while. I wanted to share some updates coming to tetrify that will help make it the text-yourself productivity system for everyone.
Revamp of tetrify Sync
Over the past few months, we’ve been working hard on a complete revamp of our fully end-to-end encrypted sync. The new version will be powered by the military-grade Matrix protocol, which will allow us to bring new features and better reliability. Soon, you’ll also be able to sync your reminders with this!
You may need to log in to tetrify Profile again: The new version of tetrify Sync will adopt a new account system. Because of this, you may be asked to log in again to use online features such as sync. Your existing account will remain intact, and no data will be lost.
tetrify on Android
Once sync is out, we will start working on launching the beta for tetrify on Android. The exact timeline isn't clear yet, but we're hoping this will happen in the coming weeks.
Request features!
Are there features you'd like to see more of in tetrify? You can post and vote on feature requests on tetrify Community. We heavily use them to shape our roadmap!
That's all for now. As always, you're welcome to reach out with any questions

Right now on the iPhone app, I do not have an account with tetrify. But I just downloaded the app on my MacBook and would like to access all my notes there. I’m worried if I create an account on my phone app that it will erase all of the notes I made without an account. Can someone tell me how I can navigate this..
@pennywrites Right now (confusingly) the accounts don't really tie to your data at all so it really isn't meant to affect much. All your data is stored on your device and doesn't go anywhere. I'm looking into introducing encrypted iCloud Backups which should make it easier to backup your data. That said, the latest update fixed the bug with the not being able to export a backup. Can you try exporting your data and recovering it on Mac (or somewhere else)? This should let you access a copy of your data on your Mac. -

"It’d be nice to have an album feature to sort texts into though, like a nice little way to preserve special texts within a space (almost like pinning?)."
Alternatively:
"Push an individual text to the bottom of a space, so we can handle tasks in a different order or remember something important. It would be good to sync the order with the Summary tab too.
It could simply push it down, or it could pin it to the bottom so it doesn't move with extra texts."

Hi Tetrify team,
I noticed that your app doesn’t currently support iOS’s native text editing gestures like Shake to Undo or the three-finger swipe to undo/redo. This feature is available in Apple’s native text components (UITextView / UITextField) and makes editing feel much smoother and consistent across iPhone apps.
It would be amazing if you could enable Apple’s UndoManager or use the built-in UIKit text fields so users can undo/redo natively.
Also, every time I try to paste something, iOS asks for permission (“Allow Paste?”). This usually happens when an app accesses the clipboard automatically or hasn’t updated to Apple’s latest secure clipboard APIs.
Could the team please adjust the clipboard behaviour so the paste pop-up doesn’t appear every time only when users manually tap “Paste”?
Thank you for building such a great app — I’d really appreciate this addition! These two small fixes would make a huge difference in everyday usability!
— Penny

- Improved the text selection experience in the editor. Now pasting texting should work a lot better.
- Added a new experimental Media tab which shows all your pictures in one place. You can try it yourself by going to Space's Views settings.
Just some mid-way improvements before Sync 2.0 beta launch, I'm excited to share it with you soon!
